Current Collective Bargaining Agreement

Union representation means that UAFT negotiates and administers a contract known as a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) that sets forth your salary, health and other benefits, hours, and working conditions.

Neither the University nor the Union requested to open negations last fall and as a result the contract is extended for one year (Jan 1, – Dec 31, 2014) in accordance with Article 1.  Your contract is administered by the UAFT as your exclusive bargaining agent, through meetings with the department of labor relations for the University and through informal discussions with Deans and Directors.
